The biggest City in Oz! The Best(my point of view)! A huge city full of surprises! From the nice restaurant to the big and little beache... or to the blue mountains! Some Aussie would say it’s really crowded!!! To compare with other big cities of kind!! I found it really laid back! Of course in the CDB you feel the crowd... but as soon as you leave it, it’s differrent atmosphere! From Bondi to Coogee, or from balmoral to Palm Beach via Manly! To Jerusalem bay, to the blue mountain! For a first step in Australia that’s perfect!!! You can feel this British vibe mixed to a relax one!! But a bit expensive!!
Niagara Falls, NY is a sleepy little town come winter. Most of the hustle and bustle is on the Canadian side during the winter months. A group of friends and I decided to head up there for NYE as they have a huge concert on the Canadian side. After flying into Buffalo and driving to the boarder, we were denied entry when one of the people we were traveling with had a DUI in the past. So to make the most of it we stayed for a few days and went to see the falls. Frozen over, they are quite spectacular, there really is nothing like it. The city itself was not very active. Most places were closed for the season. We did find one bar up the street from the Sheraton we were staying at called RUST. These folks were amazing and made all of us feel like family. Great live music and the owner Marie makes everything from scratch. There was a casino across from the hotel, it was your typical casino. I would definitely suggest going in season if you want more of that touristy feel. However, if you enjoy a bit of a ghost town, winter is where it is at.
